First of all, let’s clarify a crucial point. OEM sound systems are not necessarily of poor quality. But from the perspective of a listener and music enthusiast, the experience of listening to your favorite music in the car can be significantly different from listening to it on your home stereo. So, here, we’re focusing on making sure that you can get the same satisfaction from your car stereo as you do from other sound systems.

Here’s a simple test that doesn’t require any effort:
Close the doors and windows of the car when you are inside it.
Choose your favorite music and don’t be afraid to turn up the volume. However, we do not recommend increasing the volume too much. For your safety, you can download a free app that monitors the volume of sounds around you, such as Decibel X or Sound Meter. You can safely listen to sounds up to 100 decibels for a few minutes if your hearing is healthy.
With the volume turned up, pay close attention to the sound quality.
Does the sound get distorted at high volume?
Do you need to adjust the treble for clarity?
Does the ball make a hollow or hollow sound when you try to adjust it?
Think about how you play the music on your car stereo. Are you connecting your smartphone to the head unit?
Do you tune in to the radio? Are you listening to music from a CD?
Do the available options not meet your needs?
Do you want to be able to do more with the head unit?
